Once the group regrouped, lifted intensity and returned to structure, they showed strong signs of what they are capable of.
Oskar Brookshaw continued his development in the backline, showing composure beyond his years as one of the several talented 17-year-olds in the group.
Eli Knuckey, with his bold new hair colour, produced his best game of the season so far. David “Modra” Richards remains a key pillar of the team’s structure moving forward.
First gamer Bobby Boyd impressed immediately and looks set to be a real contributor in the weeks ahead.
