With the women out of the finals series, it was up to the men to carry the Nomads. They travelled to Inverell to face the home side at an oval on the edge of town.
Once again, the Nomads were undermanned and struggled to match a strong Inverell outfit, going down 21.8 (134) to 5.3 (33).
Despite the result, the group continued to compete strongly throughout the match.
